Instead of speending da holidays in Goa, I'm spending mine at home. Woke up by 845am, went for breakfast and help a friend to shift her stuff from my place back to hostel. Due to her ankle injury, she had been staying over my place for 3 weeks...for convenience sake. After that, went to buy some vege with housemie. Back at home, clean up da house and start cooking....at da same time, blast some musics to relax. After a nice meal, will start doing my microb SDL. Will be going for a friend's birthday celebration at night..erm, might attend easter mass at 9pm if i can make it. If not, I will attend tomorrow morning mass.I guess so. Weird right...always mention about attending birthday celebrations in my blog...anyway how, i guess birthday celebrations considered so called "happening" stuff over here cuz nothing much is here...and this is da life being a medical student in India... *sigh*

Juz don't Get it
It's been a long day. Lectures from 8am to 4pm. So tiring. As usual, I still dozing off during class. Liverpool lost to Chelsea 1-3 at Anfield. It's kind of embarrasing. Teased by my friends who are chelsea's, MU's and arsenal's fans. Tomorrow is Good Friday, it's a holiday in India. Will go for a picnic at a beach with friends tomorrow and hang out at there for 2 or 3 hours...a bit emo now...don't feel like talking right now...sienz...

It's just another day
Today is considered a big day for me. Nice day to start off with da birthday song from my batchmates. Anyway still need to attend lectures as well. As different lecturers step into da lecture hall, they just simply looked like different dosage of sleeping pills coming in...I just simply felt so sleepy in pharmacology and pathology class. Had a nice dinner with my fellow friends...though not that happening for this birthday, at least I felt happy and I appreciate all da stuff they've done for me. Last but not least, thanks for all da presents....My big day is over by now...Gotta start studying, ciaoz....Good night everyone.

"Bloody" Experience
Chinese orientation was over yesterday. Actually, I've planned to go for breakfast at 9am this morning then camping in library till evening. Forgot to set alarm last night before I went to bed. I woke up at 9am this morning...screw da breakfast, continued with my dreams till I received message from a friend. There's a autopsy at mortuary in 30 minutes. Quickly, I got up and washed up myself. Packed my bag so that I can go library after autopsy. Nice experience watching da forensic doctor doing post-mortem. Definitely, it doesn't smell nice..erm it's smell like in da wet market, like those butchers cutting da pigs....smell of fresh blood...It's seem easy to cut da fresh dead body compared to what I've seen during first year in dissection hall. The person in charged told us a lot of things eg: how to identify those bruises and fractures and da possible reason which causes it. Kind of lost da appetite after watching autopsy, impacts were greatly seen in my friends. Need to copy da report from forensic department and find out the cause of death.

Wanna-be
This is da second week for second year. Subjects are interesting and it makes you have da doctor-wanna-be feelings after studying them. Those big terms eg: necrosis, gangrene...the bigger da terms da better cuz it explains all. Some lecturers are bored and always make me almost doze off in da class. I'm trying my very best not to fall asleep in during lectures since my attendance number is 100 which is lecturers' favorite number and always called by them to answer questions during lectures. Somehow this is good. It makes me study. Right now, still busying with chinese orientation thingy. And studies is getting busier, SDL(self-directed learning), IL (independent learning), PBL(problem based learning), assignments and other Ls are on da way...The portion taught in class everyday is very bulky as well. It's time to get serious.

Settled
Finally, my apartment 95% is settled...now only left with curtains and shoe racks. It's so great that there's no saturday class in 2nd year. The school expect us to do a lot of readings on our own...Thus, need to organise time on our own nicely. If not, there's so much time for us to slack...My apartment is quite comfy, just that don't have a nice sofa set and TV compared to house in malaysia...It's looked better with those, of course. LOL. Somehow no interesting stuff is happening recently so not much to blog about. Tonight 830 to 93opm is 60 Earth Hour, I guess I will response to this by offing those non-essential lights. Seriously need to practise this cuz electricity in india is expensive compared to Malaysia.

2nd Year
Second year of MBBS started on monday..due to Utsav, a cultural event, this week everyday class ends at 1230pm. These few days, I've been busy running around to shop for some furnitures for my apartment. Besides, at da same time, busy preparing Chinese orientation for batch 24 juniors as well. Well, these few days lecturers only introduced us to da 4 subjects for second year which are pathology, microbiology, forensic medicine, pharmacology. Real thing not yet started...but in some how, I've found that pathology is kind of interesting...cuz dealing with those diseases...I'm still very much looking forward to go mortuary for forensic autopsy. Gotta do some reading for pharmacology now..Good night and Have a good day ahead..

Home in India
I'm officially move out from hostel ...erm...4 days ago I think. Move to a two-room apartment with another friend who is yet to be back to manipal this sunday. Before getting broadband connection, I was freaking bored though still not yet finished unpacking my stuff but now is almost done. Thanks to those for helping me to clean up da house and move da stuff from hostel. I'm not able to settle it that fast if without you girls. Not really decorate my house yet...I will post up da pics after I'm satisfy with da house...FYI, my place just less than 10 mins walk to lecture hall i think. It has 2 rooms with AC, 2 bathrooms, a living room with AC, a dining room and kitchen. It's furnished with those simple furniture. Not yet get myself a scooter, kind of bored of walking in and out already plus now it's summer in south india...it's freaking freaking hot. Will get myself a scooter asap...
Though now i'm having broadband, I'm still feeling bored...alone at home is really bored..I pass my time by cleaning up da house again for da 2nd time and I will do it for da 3rd time before my housemate coming back. First time ever I did so much house chores...sweep and mop da floors, clean da bathrooms and kitchen, clean da windows and doors... I feel a bit accomplished. LOL...
At da same time, watch da Bing Bang Theory to pass da time also. Already got my 2nd year textbooks, can't wait for da lectures to start.

I guess I've said I wanna update about my tour around india..Erm, seriously I don't know how to put it in words. It would be better can experience by yourself. What can I say? I don't know how to describe those sceneries, monuments, the way the people lives...but it had been great days for me during da 20-day-trip to travel around with my fellow friends. Though lots of conflicts we had in making decisions...anyway how, we had lots of fun too and had done lots of cam-whoring session. Feel free to browse through photos in my facebook profile for places I've visited. It's kinda nice experience I had... eg: wearing a skiing suit and climbed up da mountains when da transport broke down. I bet some of my other friends won't get to experience travelling in India. Spent quite some time on da train cuz india is so big..since we're going on budget scheme. Along da journey, nice sceneries can be seen which you're not able to enjoy it if travel by flights. Seriously looking forward for da next trip...But good preparation and planning need to be done before travel. For me, personally think that, India is a great place for sight seeing and extreme outdoor activities...for shopping and food, it's still lost to malaysia...unless you wanna shop for those handicrafts, cloth, sarees, shawls and etc, it's definitely cheaper and more variety... I've learned some stuff throughout da trip...a lot of "How to be.........?" Anyway, advice for those wanna go travel around...get yourself a Lonely Planet and a good camera. Don't worry, can do it without tour guides...ok, I'm totally lost of words now....thinking of rounds of blogging, I guess it's not going to work..ciaoz
